The Garden Nursery Childcare Centre has developed since 1968 from a small playgroup in St. Mary's Church Hall, to a purpose built setting for pre-school children, run by qualified, long serving staff. It is set in a secure walled garden in the grounds of St. Mary's Vicarage in the Innox area of Frome which is an easy walk from the town centre.

The Nursery was recently inspected by OFSTED receiving a GOOD report covering all areas of the Curriculum and praising the staff. Staff provide good support for children's independence and social skills. They have high expectations of children and are consistent in promoting positive behaviour. All Staff are qualified and are constantly attending courses to broaden and update their skills.

Both sons have been happy at The Garden Nursery over the past 3 years. They have had such a wonderful time. They have enjoyed the outdoor space, cooking, planting, being part of the Nativity play, going on river walks and all the creative art and learning. It's the staff inside that have made it special. The staff are very caring. We feel sad to be saying goodbye and appreciate all the effort and time they have spend with our boys. Thank you so much

The staff are all very friendly very good out door and indoor space for children to play my lg been going there since she was 2 years old and loves it

Tomorrow will be the last day for Poppy at this fabulous Garden nursery ! She's spent 2 1/2 years here and has made so many lovely memories and had so much fun !! All the ladies are so welcoming and lovely , feel very lucky to have found such a beautiful setting Couldn't of chose a nicer nursery to care for my children

My Granddaughter attended The Garden Nursery for two years and is just moving on to 'big school'. She loved going and made some lovely little friends. The staff are great with the children and do a fantastic job creating an environment that is happy and safe .
