Water Phobia -My Journey and Success in conquering my deep fear of the water - this could be You Too!. I suffered from water phobia which meant I had to work hard at my swimming lessons to conquer my phobia. I had this fear of water all my life owing to childhood incidents. I was placed in a children's home in Surrey at the age of 6 months.
Lessons are given in my private swimming pool with expert instruction that is beyond the normal ASA teaching. My teaching gives the absolute fearful person or the newbie to the water EVERYTHING A PROFFESSIONAL PERSON KNOWS AND EVEN MORE!. Lessons are conducted in my own private swimming pool on a 1-1 basis.

I’m so happy with my classes at Swim Easy. I have taken private swim classes previously and still wasn’t comfortable in the water. My comfort in the water has increased exponentially from my first class. All of the instructors are exceptional at what they do. They explain the fundamentals, are extremely patient and are wizards in helping you achieve your swim goals.

This swim school is the best!! I have attempted to learn to swim many times before but never had such encouraging and patient swim instructors before. All the instructors are very caring, knowledgeable, and are excellent teachers who identify each students' unique difficulties and work on them constructively. I highly recommend this school and it's not expensive compared to the other places I have shopped around. All around 5 star swim school.

Love the classes here, every instructor is awesome at understanding your level and sharing tips to make swimming so comfortable. I’ve attended a few swim schools in the past but wasn’t comfortable breathing and didn’t have the right posture either for back float. Once they corrected me with the technique, am now able to swim with more ease. Highly recommend!!

Living in NYC it's not easy to find a pool or instructors without committing to a high end health club and Swim Easy provided a perfect solution to get my feet wet (literally) without a huge commitment for a gym membership.
The instructors are all top notch and friendly. They will work with and encourage you to overcome any fears you may have with the water.
I had a package of 8 lessons with their team just before Covid made a mess of things in early 2020 and I'm so glad to see them back in business again. Time for another package this spring now that they have a new pool location on Sundays

This is the only place where I was able to learn water safety skills and move on to learning how to swim! The classes are usually small and flexible to schedule. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The instructors make you feel at ease right away in water, even for someone like me who has serious phobia to water. Even though I only take the group classes, there is individual attention and you can work on strokes at your own pace. After 4 classes I could do basic freestyle which is amazing and confidence boosting. It's so much fun and I actually look forward to my lessons instead of dreading

Swim Easy is filled with wonderful and patient instructors who are passionate about their job. I purchased an 8 class package and learned so much by the last session. Excited by all of the improvement I made, I purchased a second package and continue to learn something new during each class. I highly recommend Swim Easy for any adult wanting to finally overcome their fear of the water.

Cannot recommend Swim Easy enough! The classes are exclusively for adults so you can feel comfortable knowing that there are plenty of other adults looking to learn to swim! The instructors are kind, patient, and know when to push you past your fears. Five months ago I was terrified of the deep end. After just a few lessons I was treading water, and have now advanced to the immersion classes where I am learning freestyle, breast stroke, etc. The pool is always clean and there are locker rooms with showers. If you're looking for adult swimming lessons this is your place. It's a great environment

Best swim teachers I could ask for! Perfect for beginners or intermediate levels - whether still learning to get comfortable in the water/never swam before or already have some swimming experience. Very patient, encouraging, and super fun! Very flexible schedule for adult learners in a safe environment. Pool is very warm and comfortable, everybody is vaccinated, and I always feel safe here. If you want the most individual attention within group setting, go in the late fall/winter seasons! However, even in the more popular summer months I got plenty of individual coaching!

I can’t really describe how happy I feel after I started taking classes here. The team push you to get better and better with each class, and make you feel secure and safe with your new environment. As an adult who never learned how to swim before, and the progress these lessons gave me so far, I would definitely recommend Swim Easy to whoever wants to learn how to swim. I hope I could give them more than 5 starts because it’s worth every penny.

I wish I had found out of this place earlier because it truly is a fun place to go to learn to swim. Each instructor takes their time to help and adapt to each student needs. I love every class I gone to, always feel safe and respectful the other students are awesome as well. Everyone is there to cheer each other on and honestly it’s a wonderful team and the students who join. Can’t wait for me next class.
