IVM provide technically demanding injection moulded tooling, components and sub-assemblies to a wide range of industries. We process both commodity and engineering polymers across a wide range, including many of the new and technically demanding resins. We offer post moulding operations such as sub assembly, insert loading and finishing operations carried out at the press side.

This enables us to carry out the most efficient operations with the best timescales and costs. We strive to create a dynamic environment to develop your projects and maximise their potential.
Services
IVM can assist clients with new concept introduction through the development and manufacture of Rapid Tooling from our in-house facility. This offers our clients a one-stop shop scenario whereby they deal with one company for the entire project from concept to production.

We in turn keep a close eye on timescales and ensure that the critical path to manufacture is followed and all of the relevant information is handled in the strictest of confidence, thereby safe guarding your product into the marketplace.By handling the entire process we are able to make it happen smoother, quicker and at a lower cost than if the project was fragmented into its individual components.
Our onsite service allows the client/end-user to visit the showcase facility during the trialling of new tooling, engineering changes or material changes, in which we can allocate a full 10 hours to provide a full report on each individual tool. A setting sheet - showing actual conditions and parameters used to achieve a good product.
We provide production runs to a high specification at very competitive rates. Our showcase facility has state-of-the-art ancillaries and equipment enabling us to handle a wide variety of applications. Plant and equipment includes moulding machines (ranging up to 110 tons), with dehumidifying dryers and conveying systems with sprue separators to optimise efficiency and therefore reduce production costs.
Our client contacted us with a design concept for a soap saver device which he had been developing with a local product development company. He was at the stage where he believed he was ready for market.

We assisted with the development of the component design and after making a few changes, including altering wall section, draft angles and gate position, we ensured the best possible component could be produced within budget and exceeding customer expectations. We worked closely with the client to ensure that the tooling and components were launched within five weeks of purchase order placement.
An entrepreneur with a keen interest in cycling came to us with a new component design, for a handle bar insert to attach a hand shield to the handle bars. He already manufactured a foot shield that performed a similar function, produced using vac forming, but he wanted the ability to mass produce his new product at a more competitive cost.
