We're an award winning deli based in North Leeds, selling the very best of Yorkshire produce as well as exciting ingredients from around the world. The team is headed up by local resident, Val Berry, who bought the business in 2008, with a mission to turn it into a great little deli at the heart of the community, and bring local food to local people.
We make all of our savouries, soups, salads and cakes on site, and we're passionate about supporting small local artisan producers. We remain a small, family run, independent business, and understand that our very personal style of customer service, as well as our delicious food, is why our customers keep coming back.

Services
We offer outside catering for any event from business lunches to celebration buffets and picnics. We cater for weddings, funerals, christenings, birthday parties and dinner parties, and although we've listed some examples of our business lunch and special occasion menus, we do loads of other things too!
We have 4 options listed here - but please feel free to mix & match - we're always happy to make up an order to your exact requirements. We can also do breakfast meetings. We have croissants, pains au chocolate, bagels, fruit, yoghurt & our famous bacon sandwiches. Give us a call and let us know what you'd like!
If you would like to mix and match, miss things out or add things in - we're really happy to do that. We also make, quiche, Morroccan beef parcels, pork pies, mini sandwiches, salmon en croute. Our lovely chefs are really very very clever. If you're doing a dinner party and need a hand- just bring us your favourite dish, casserole or platter, tell us what you'd like and we'll make it up for you.
We can make your perfect gift hamper for any occasion and any budget. Or you can choose from our recommended list. All of our hampers arrive wrapped in cellophane, tied with Haley & Clifford printed ribbon and include our trademark sugar mouse. We will do our very best to ensure that your hamper looks just like the picture, but now and again we may need to substitute the odd product.

Haley & Clifford provided the catering for a recent significant birthday celebration in the well-equipped Thorner Victory Hall.
We chose a bespoke three-course cold buffet for our 26 guests. All of the food was prepared fresh by the talented and lovely Val and her team. The canapés provided an excellent small bite as the guests arrived. Absolutely wonderful service and the most amazing food! We used Haley & Clifford Deli's outside catering service for my 50th birthday celebration two weeks ago. All the guests were very impressed by the choice, presentation and quality of the food. In fact, it was that good, I am requesting their services again for my mum's birthday party in October. Went to Haley & Clifford ref putting a hamper together for my mum’s birthday. We visited their website first to get an idea of what produce they sold and was very impressed with the wide variety of cooked… meats, cheeses, breads, crackers and antipasti, all of which were well priced. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the lady I spoke to over the phone but she was very helpful, informative and really enthusiastic about helping us put something together and offered her own suggestions, which were very welcome, including using one of their wonderful hessian bags to have

Hayley & Clifford arranged a last minute Christmas hamper for my grandparents as we were no longer able to see them. All arranged over the phone. Lovely deli on Street Lane. We shared a ploughman's platter. Tasty and good quality.
I retain a lovely impression of Haley & Clifford because we once called in for a coffee late in the day, feeling a bit downhearted after flying home from a lovely holiday and anticipating returning to beastly work, and the staff offered us a big bag of free pastries left over at the end of the day. This generous gift really cheered us up and restored our spirits. And everything was DELICIOUS 😋

Visiting from the south to see the family, and they introduced us to this glorious deli café.
What an array of produce... ranging from homemade cakes and tiffins, creamy cheeses and charcuterie, olives and nibbles.
Scrummy selection of unusual salads, patés, sandwiches, quiches and all manner of foods for breakfast, lunch and tea.
We enjoyed a smooth, creamy latte coffee, cappuccino and a babyccino.
As an aside, they had a really moving display of black and white photos of people with their mothers, in preparation for Mother's Day.
Will go back before we return home, your should too
