The good: delicious food, we had the boar stew, spicy shrimp, and the burger, all prepared without a fault. The chocolate dessert was a heavenly soft, almost mousse-like, cake. I would've had a second one if I wasn't already overeaten. Service was fast and friendly.
The bad: presentation of the food was severely lacking, scooped straight from the pot onto the plate, without wiping drips off the fringes. The interior is a mishmash of stuff and not very cozy, nor modern or hip. Prices are too high for the quality of the food.
In conclusion: a nice and welcome addition to Aalst's culinary scene
