The Buntingford Coffee Shop

Very popular at 10:45 on a Friday morning, but sitting outside in sunshine felt great. Moved inside at 11:15ish as sun moved and left in shade. Mid-morning brunch was perfect and left feeling replenished.

Lovely place, friendly staff, delicious cakes, but the coffee could have done with more coffee in it. Very weak and insipid almost. Not bitter or horrible just very weak, not good for a coffee shop really. My black Americans was so weak you could see the bottom of the cup through it.

My first visited with a friend. What a gem in Buntingford. Choice to sit inside or out with blankets provided for tables outside. Great.

Some fantastic cycling roads in this area and always amazing cakes at Buntingford coffee shop plus reasonably fast and always friendly service.

Nice coffee shop on the high street. I had a bacon sandwich. It was nice with a solid amount of bacon in it.
My partner had a bowl of Mediterranean vegetables which is quite decent. They have nice vegan options.
The only disappointment was the tea. Tea bags is not what I like.
But if I were to be in the area again I would return. They have other stuff I would like to try.

Unfortunately let down by their staff yesterday.
Having visited the shop on multiple occasions without any issues I was disappointed to have received the service I received yesterday.
I ordered a tea, cold mango drink, brownie and fruit scone. From ordering we opted to take a seat outside, and informed the gentleman who took the order. However, after around 10 to 15 minutes one of the staff members came out and asked if I'd ordered a tea and explained sugar was inside. I had no problem with this and accept there may have been other orders to fulfil although only 2 other tables were occupied outside

Great food and coffee. The service was somewhat chaotic and slow at times.

Very friendly atmosphere and staff. Quick ssrvice and reasonable prices. Loved the outside area.

Lovely coffee & ciabatta for lunch in the sun. Warm seats and blankets, what not to like ?

Popped in to do some work for a couple of hours today and grab some lunch. Lovely atmosphere with really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will be back as the cakes need trying out!!

This coffee shop is very popular. It offers a great variety of coffees, teas , cakes and lunches. Always fresh and sourced locally.
A friendly service
You can sit outside if you wish on comfortable seating.
Daily papers are provided for your convenience and you are never rushed even when they are busy.
Clean toilet available (very important) in my opinion.
