Our clubhouse is an excellent venue used by individuals and clubs across Rochdale for a wide variety of social events. This includes providing an excellent wedding venue, and for businesses wishing to run conferences, hire a meeting room and run team-building days across Rochdale, Oldham and Littleborough.

Formed in 1921, Rochdale Rugby Union Football Club is a long established organisation providing the facilities for players of this version of the code in the Rochdale area. We are proud of the fact that all of our players are amateur, we have no professionals playing for our teams. Our playing grounds are in the Bamford area of Rochdale, at the top end of Moorgate Avenue, off the Bury Road.
With fixtures away at Manchester Rugby Club kicking off at 10:45 and then Heaton Moor starting at 12:30, we split the teams and despatched the squad to their respective destinations. Perfect weather for rugby all round. The boys started smartly with good early possession and excellent passing down the line using the full width of the pitch to stretch the opposition.
Rochdale Rugby Union Football Club is delighted to note the selection of former player Daniel Kelly for Eddie Jones's latest England squad of players. Daniel started playing rugby at Rochdale at the age of 6. He is currently playing professional rugby union in the Rugby Premiership with Leicester Tigers.
We offer a number of types membership, not only for Players but also for those that would like to socialise in what we like to think of as Rochdale's "hidden gem". Established in 2018, Rochdale Valkyries are a development team that has grown year on year. As we approach the 2021/22 season, in the North West Allianz Inner Warrior Series, we are keen to grow and welcome new and existing players to join our squad. We currently train Tuesday evenings 6.45pm - 8pm and play competitive games on a flexible basis.
