ELST was developed as a training company in 2005 by former Emergency Service personnel as a result of our passion for the potentially life-saving skills of First Aid. Between us we have many combined years of experience in the emergency, pre-hospital environment.

We have a team of dedicated instructors with a unique knowledge and personal real-life experience to bring to our professional training to industry, schools, hospitals and social organisations. We believe that everybody, both young and old, should possess at least the basic skills to save a life. Our mission is to provide you with those life-saving skills that truly can mean the difference between life and death.
Services
Emergency Life Support Team (ELST) delivers First Aid training and qualifications across the South of England. Andy Sullivan has over 32 years of practical First Aid experience. My career started as an operational fire-fighter, with hands-on First Aid experience, in the Kent Fire Brigade. I served with Kent Fire Brigade for 17 years; and qualified as an instructor.
This three day first aid course meets the Health & Safety Executive legal requirements for the workplace, should your First Aid risk assessment demonstrate it necessary to hold a First Aid at Work qualification. This course is a requirement for when the First Aid Risk Assessment has deemed it appropriate.
Our 3 hour Basic Life Support - CPR Course is ideal for Clinical and non-clinical staff, from Hospitals, GP Surgeries & Dental Surgeries. The course is also ideal for anyone who would like to learn the essentials of Life Saving First Aid.

ELSTs Basic Life Support Course - CPR course is essential for those who require the need to provide Life Support skills for those under their care, while providing emergency first aid care until the relevant and required medical assistance arrives.Your abilities in saving a life are of the utmost importance to us, which is why our training ethos is to create a relaxed and enjoyable training experience in which to learn to your full potential.
The HSE strongly recommends that first-aiders undertake annual First Aid refresher training during any three-year First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work certification period. Although not mandatory, this will help qualified first-aiders maintain their basic skills and keep up-to-date with any changes to first-aid procedures.
Our Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Course is tailored to the make and model of your defibrillator and lasts for duration of 3 hours. The training course covers the safe use and care of your equipment. We can also advise you as to which defibrillator is best suited to your needs. This course is tailored to the make and model of your defibrillator and lasts for duration of 3 hours and covers the use and proper care of your equipment.

Stopped on Christmas Eve for some Late lunch and a few brews. The 2019 Christmas ale held up great and the smash burger from the Food Truck was awesome. Service was fast and everyone was super nice . The burger was crisp and still juicy.

Went mid-day so very low-key. But parking was easy, the young lady working the bar was very nice, and the beers were smooth. The back patio looked nice, I'm sure it's fun when it's more crowded.

This is my hood, so I am biased, but we love Elst and are proud to use it as a guidepost when giving a description of our neighborhood to friends. Their beer is delicious, the space is charming, and they just added a good truck - great for those Friday (Tuesday, Wednesday… any) nights when I don’t want to make dinner. The food truck has burgers right now, and they seem to be trying new ideas often (tacos were last).

I love their Vanilla Milkshake ale! If you are at the tap room, try it on Nitro. You will not be disappointed.
The tap room is a pleasure to visit. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. They recently added a food truck. It is a perfect place to grab a cold beer and relax with friends.

Awesome brewery with a great backstory. The beer is great, and the service is even better. We felt so welcome by the staff and customers alike, even with our big dogs!

Great job to all the people who make it happen at Elst. We live in west Knoxville and will definitely stop by to sample more of your offerings ! - cort-

Excellent environment and a really welcoming and warm feeling in the taproom with a wonderful outdoor area too. It sounds cheesy but I have to say it but it feels like home. Not just the environment but the people too. Roughly 20 selections on tap which range from ales to sours. They have taken the “brewery” to “local establishment on the corner” to the next level.

Neat place with a good beer selection and plans to offer an expanding variety over the coming months. Matt the bartender is extremely nice and well versed in current as well as upcoming beer. Parking is in dedicated large lot behind building down the street beside the building. Use the yellow door to enter from the back. They have been bringing in food options and had BBQ on offer when we were there.
