We are a charity so all our income is ploughed back into further improving our services to our residents and their families. Broomgrove is a gem of a nursing home in the leafy south west of Sheffield, but within a stone's throw of the city centre. Broomgrove manager Donna Pierpoint cares passionately about the lives of older people and champions their cause.

Broomgrove is a gem of a nursing home based just off Ecclesall Road in the leafy southwest of Sheffield but within a stone's throw of the city centre, major hospitals and direct routes into the city. We are a close community of around 40 nursed residents, 3 residential tenants and over 80 staff.
For over 50 years we have provided high-quality long-term, medium-term, respite and convalescent care for people of all ages who have physical illnesses or disabilities. In some ways, we are unique. We are the only charity within Sheffield's nursing home sector and invest any profit we make to further improve our services to residents and their families.

Broomgrove's connections with the 'Fab Four' don't stop there; the marriage of Brian Epstein's mum and dad took place just a few hundred yards away at the Wilson Road synagogue thirty years earlier. We mention the group because entertainment and the creation of a stimulating environment for residents are one of things that really make Broomgrove Nursing Home stand out.
Our two-storey, quadrangular building is modern, light and airy and designed for easy wheelchair access. The main entrance leads to a foyer and reception area off which are our individual rooms. Our Levels of security are high and visitors gain access to Broomgrove only with the help of a member of staff inside the building.

All of our bedrooms have a green view, either onto our courtyard or our exterior surroundings in the leafy suburb of Sheffield. This includes a wardrobe, chest of drawers, a lockable bedside cabinet and over-bed table. Residents are able to bring in their own furniture as long as there is room and it is safe.
