Services
We have been providing chimney sweeping services to our customers in Oxford for over twenty years - the addition of stove supply and fitting came in 2007, when we became the Oxfordshire Stove Company. With years of experience in maintaining chimney health, and additional experience in CORGI accredited gas fitting, our team gained HETAS registration and began trading within the increasingly popular stoves market.
Many of the stoves we fit in Oxford and the surrounding areas are installed into existing fireplaces, but if you don't have a fireplace don't worry, you can still have a stove in your home. As specialists in stoves and chimney specifications, we can tell you what your options are with regards to fitting a stove in your fireplace.
Logs are an excellent source of fuel for people with wood burning stoves in Oxford, as they are natural, renewable, and carbon neutral. Unless you have your own supply of wood it is best to source your logs from a reputable supplier, so you know they have been seasoned properly and are from well managed trees - using pollarding, for example.

We've used Ian and team for a number of years now and they've always been fantastic. Having initially used them to sweep our chimney, they've since replaced our ancient chimney liner and have just installed a new wood burner for us. Their workmanship and professionalism is first class and they always clean up after themselves, leaving everything as they found it. Would highly recommend!

Fully recommend Ian Bush and his team if you need a fireplace. We had particular problems with the chimney and fireplace design. Ian was able to come up with a solution and stove that fitted our needs exactly. He organised building works and scaffolding to correct the problem. Also Ian suggested a new Dunsley stove which we had not seen in other suppliers and we are very happy with its looks and performance. Ian and his subcontractors were all quick, efficient, tidy and polite.

I was very impressed by this company. I've just had a new log burner and flue installed by them. Ian and his team (Pete ans Sam) turned up when they said they would and were all friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and I liked the way everything was explained as the job went along. They tidied up after themselves and overall the whole experience was very pleasant. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Oxfordshire Stoves have to be commended for their expert product knowledge along with a great Customer Service experience. After ringing Ian and explaining what my requirements were he managed to do a site visit within an hour of the conversation, gave his expert opinion, supplied a quote within 24hrs and completed a fantastic job two weeks later. - No hesitation to recommend this company to anyone.
