Hamblion Transport is a family run general haulage business with over 50 years experience of handling, storing and transporting goods across mainland UK. We are situated in Colchester, Essex, Britains oldest recorded town. Not far from the town centre with convenient access to main roads to and from the busy ports of Felixstowe, Harwich, Tilbury and London Gateway.

We provide a wide range of services and are fully equipped to move anything from an out of gauge item to a full load of palletised goods. Rigid vehicles: Curtain sided 7.5, 18 and 26 Tonne with a variety of loading and offloading options. All our drivers a fully qualified and hold a full drivers CPC (Certificate of professional competance). We conduct regular health and safety training as well as generalised tool box talks. We are FORS accredited to Bronze level and all of our drivers complete vulnerable road users and safety related counter terroism E-learning training modules.

Located in Colchester with fantastic access to and from the ports of Felixstowe, Harwich and Ipswich, we offer secure & dry storage facilities in 40,000 sqft of warehouses. Our warehouse staff are fully trained and operate a comprehensive range of lifting equipment- up to 10 Tonne. We can unload and load all sizes of container and trailer cargos offering you a fast turn around on all shipments.
