GMA now manages in excess of 250,000 sq ft of secure warehousing space with an annual warehouse throughput exceeding 300,000 tonnes. The warehouses are located in Ipswich and Felixstowe, near UK's premier container port of Felixstowe. GMA operate a well-maintained, dedicated fleet of vehicles and trailers from small vans to 44-ton gross curtain-sided vehicles.
This allows GMA to collect and distribute goods from all over the UK reliably and efficiently. GMA has been putting an increased emphasis on handling both import and export project cargo. Our warehouses are able to handle cargo up to 44 tons and can complete all the stringent loading and lashing requirements that the shipping lines insist on.

We are independently owned and provide a comprehensive range of national logistical services including; storage, curtain sided distribution, container transport and specialised heavy transport, plant, machinery and project cargo. We value our staff who are an integral part of the team, from experienced warehousemen to skilled transport planners.
Our multi-purpose storage facilities operate across two prime locations. Both warehouses are within close proximity of the UK's premier container port, Felixstowe, and within easy access of the A14 and A12. We offer a flexible service and understand the importance of balancing supply and demand. Our warehouse management system enables us to provide customers with real time updates on our warehouse operations.
Our specialist project cargo team offer solutions for the transport of abnormal loads throughout the UK. Our warehouses can handle cargo up to 42 ton, and can manage the complete solution for Project Cargo, from collection and delivery to loading and lashing.
We can undertake and arrange all types and sizes of general and specialist haulage work, from simple in gauge one off moves, to larger more complex abnormal loads and heavy haulage project moves.
