You have to be careful when out on your road bike for the first time to avoid getting addicted! The fresh air blowing along a nice country road as you put the power through the pedals in a nice aerodynamic position, miles of tarmac will be sweeping past. Its all about time, that is why so much time, money and effort goes into wind tunnel testing and frame engineering. All to help make you go faster! For a triathlon the more aero you can get the more energy you will save for the final gruelling run. Less than one second can be the difference between winning and losing a time trail, don't put yourself at an unfair advantage by not having an aero bike!
There are two kinds of mountain bikes, Full Suspension and Hardtail. Both of which feel completely different to one another when ridden down a trail. Hardtail MTB bikes are less forgiving if you make a mistake, it will not absorb the impact of a drop or rock garden as well as a full suspension however some favour the hardtail more as they tend to be much lighter and a lot easier to cycle uphill.

Have never had a tool for removing/fitting the Di2 connectors on my second hand bike so have always left them in place. Yesterday I realised I needed one and quickly......lots of suppliers quoting October delivery on the net and one in UK not guaranteeing anything before Tuesday.
Hold on... up pops Slane Cycles over in NI, a short phone call and a… quick order online (to catch the 4:20pm collection deadline) and it arrived today.
A pleasure to deal with, a reassuring voice on the end of the phone and everything was sorted.....how often can you say that nowadays?

Jaw-droppingly quick service! Having phoned Slanes to check it was in stock, I ordered a Di2 junction box (which was the cheapest in stock anywhere in the UK that I'd found) and it was at my door (having crossed the Irish Sea) 26 hours later.
I remember calling in at the shop when the Giro d'Italia was in town back in 2014, and thought they were a nice bunch. Now I know they're really efficient too!
Highly recommended.

In my search for a Whyte 905 V3 I can count myself very lucky that I found the Medium size that I wanted at Slane Cycles.
I phoned to confirm that it was in stock and subsequently purchased it online. The following day I called to revise my email address and struck up a lovely conversation with Paul and instantly felt comfortable with my choice of supplier.
Four days after ordering the bike (including the weekend) it is now in my possession, built and ready to ride.
It was an absolute pleasure to deal with you guys, I will be using you again and I would 100% recommend you to all my fellow riders

Great service. I must admit I was initially a little wary of the website because of it's presentation, but I needn't have worried. Super quick dispatch and super quick delivery by Royal Mail as well, which is often a deal clincher for me as so many other couriers are the weak link in the chain.
