Pay as you go, no commitment, design and budget consultations just 95 per hour. Evenings and Saturdays are available. Home extensions, alterations, internal layouts, external remodelling, design, budget, planning and building regulations. Hampshire Architect's Carolyn Lowe (Carrie) starts every project with a commitment-free design and budget consultation, during which you can explore ideas, costs, planning and building regulations requirements. This is just 95 per hour and Carrie can even prepare sketch designs with you at the property, to get your project flying (please scroll down for examples).

I recommend Carolyn without hesitation. We re-visited some old plans for a single-storey extension that had never been carried out. Carolyn was very helpful, looking at these with fresh eyes and bringing them up to date, listening and responding to various worries I had about the build. I particularly liked the fact that we could carry out the process in stages and also well-adapted to social distancing requirements.

I cannot stress enough, how important my initial appointment with Carolyn was. It's easy to to be swayed by companies offering 'free' consultations but they don't really 'do' the job. Carolyn came up with ideas I hadn't considered, opened my eyes to alternative possibilities, created a visual both for my extension and it's impact on the house as a whole. It was like seeing its evolution occur before my eyes. I had initially only planned to pay for the first hour, but it was clear how valuable her service was even after 10 minutes! We spent a couple of hours creating the perfect space to compliment

Carolyn assisted us with a feasibility project. She came to our home, involved us in the process, ensuring our requirements were met but in addition suggested other options we hadn't thought of to add value to the project. Carolyn is very artistic and sketched our combined ideas in front of us, using her wealth of experience to draw upon. She made a number of valuable suggestions and provided outline costings for the project which has enabled us to decide on the feasibility of it. We were impressed with her friendly professional approach and would highly recommend her service.
