Richard Long has practised in insolvency for over 30 years, setting up Richard Long & Co, a specialist insolvency practice, in 1996. Richard is a fellow of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA), Association of Business Recovery Professionals (known as R3) and the Institute of Credit Management (ICM).
We provide an initial free one hour confidential consultation to discuss any individual or company with financial needs with no future obligation. We are experienced in finding solutions to all nature of insolvency assignments both informally and formally. Every situation is different and we will discuss your options with you.
An insolvency process that provides protection of the company where there is a prospect of saving the company's business or providing a better result for creditors than liquidation. When applying for the appointment of an Administrator, five business days notice must be given to any QFCH of the company.
If you have a bad debt we will advise you on the appropriate course of action available to maximise recovery. If you have a long outstanding debt we will advise you on a course of action to maximise recovery and where possible retain the customer. We can assist in the complex area of restructuring and will expand on the procedures and what is involved should you so require.
Richard Long is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and authorised to act by the Insolvency Practitioners Association at www.insolvency-practitioners.org.uk. Professional Indemnity Insurance - Richard Long & Co has PI cover limited to 1.25m. In addition on all formal insolvency appointments there will be a Bond obtained in accordance with the Insolvency Legislation.
