Traditional accountants seemed so completely focussed on producing statutory accounts, which tended not to be of any use to the small business owners who were paying for them. The fact that they tended to be produceed 9 months after the year end, and dealt with events nearly 2 years in the past, didn't help either.
Our Accounting and Tax advice approach revolves around helping you generate growth and profitability. We work differently. Our Commercial Managers come with more than a decade's real world experience and will help you turn the annual accounts process into an exercise that delivers valuable commercial insight and stay in touch throughout the year.
That's why we're in touch with EVERY client quarterly as a minimum, and that's all included in the fee. We'll also provide you with a free business health check each quarter using our Xavier software, so you'll know what's going well and what needs to be worked on. We also want to give you information at your finger tips, so you can make real time decisions and make the most of every opportunity.

Our Company has been using the accountancy services of Accounts and Legal for several years now and I can wholeheartedly recommend them. A very friendly and professional team. In particular we have been very fortunate to have Demie Baker as our Account Manager. Incredibly diligent, hard working and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble. I`ve been in business for some 47 years for my sins, but have rarely come across such quality service.

I use A&L for both my companies and I am extremely happy with the service. I started using A&L back in 2018 and, after 1 year I thought about switching to another company because I did not feel the accountant I was assigned to initially was very helpful. HOWEVER he decided to leave A&L in 2019 and I was assigned to another accountant-Chris Barnard. I decided to give Chris a try and thank god I did because he is fantastic! Chris is great at his job and he really cares about his clients. He is so resourceful, professional yet approachable and attentive. In 2020 he introduced me to Katriana Coombe

Very average. Will push you into a monthly payment, I strongly advise you to only pay for services once they have been completed NOT BEFORE. If you are a medium sized business, don't be surprised if the most junior person in the office is handing your account. Insist on one point of contact only. I REALLY recommend a strong service agreement created by your company for them to sign, so terms are very clear.

We have been working with Stuart Airey. We have found a very good company and Stuart is a very good professional and he produced one of the best Financial Model for my new startup business, which helped us to present it to our investor.
