Services
We we offer a range of outsourced back office accounting services because we know that the last thing you need when running a business is thinking about more paperwork. We prepare all the necessary documents before leaving the UK, manage your affairs whilst abroad and advise you of any measures you need to take prior to your return to the UK.
In recent years HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has got tough on non-compliance. Nowadays it carries out random enquiries. We feel it our responsibility to inform you of this and to reduce the risk. There are often areas of disagreement that need to be argued properly and, where necessary, carefully negotiated.
Below is a brief summary of the service we can provide if you are a non-resident landlord. Deal with form NRL1 - Application for exemption from the non-resident landlord tax scheme. Failure to obtain an exemption will result in tax deductions being made at source.
Apply for the Inspector's agreement to your residence position, which will determine the extent of your UK tax exposure, and review your circumstances to highlight areas where tax savings may be made.Correspond with your letting agent to obtain details of rent received together with expenses paid. Notify you of payments on account required by the Inland Revenue and advise you if a reduction should be made.

Determining the best structure for your business: sole trader, partnership, limited liability partnership, or limited company. Starting up a new business can seem like a minefield. With our extensive experience in working with new businesses we can assure you that our advice will be tailored to meet your specific business goals and objectives.
And yet, all too often we meet clients who are shocked at how much of their inheritance is taken from them before they even see it! In fact, at present rates, the taxman can take up to 40% of your estate! Worse still, dramatic increases in property values have not been matched by an increase in the IHT threshold.

After a very frustrating year of dealing with a previous tax adviser I contacted Chandlers in early Sept 2016, on the same day I was given an appointment to meet Richard Shaul the following Monday, Richard patiently checked all my previous records and made some recommendations. His swift response and advice has been 100% successful, not only sorting the pending 2014/15 issues with HRMC but with Richards help I managed to get all the penalty fees refunded.
I will certainly use Chandlers services again
