Services
From humble beginnings redesigning FWD vehicles and turning them into high performance RWD and 4WD road, race and rally cars through to state of the art, fully computer generated, prototype vehicles. We have always strived to keep as much of our work under one roof as is possible whilst at the same time growing organically to suit our customers needs.
We offer a full 3D scanning service using laser scanning technology. The use of scanning allows us to accurately capture the full 3D form and feature of any item from the very large to the very small and from the very complex and freeform to the more geometric Scanning allows the creation of a 3D mesh from a real world object or environment.
DJM can undertake virtually any transmission design from the smallest reverse engineered part right through to a complete transmission package using the very latest Computer Aided Design an example of this can be seen on the Colin McRae R4 which uses our 6 speed sequential gearbox, transfer case and two spiral bevel differentials.
DJM has for many years been a specialist in prototype and one-off projects, ranging from a FWD car modified into a 4WD fire breathing monster right through to a complete in-house designed prototype vehicle for example the Colin McRae R4 which was completely designed and built under one roof, using every facet of DJM.
DJM can manufacture any associated chassis or chassis part in a variety of materials from an aluminum header tank to a complete CAD designed steel space-framed chassis. All parts can be produced as one-offs or as fully jigged production items irrespective of complexity.
