C.A.R.S Mobile Mechanic provides the best value diagnostics. Period. We do not charge extra for using our equipment, that's right, zip, zero, nothing. We will charge you a very reasonable and competitive call out fee, starting from just 20. Included in that is one hours labour, and free us of the diagnostics machines, giving us plenty of time to find the problem with your car and agree on a solution.
Typical vehicle operation puts brakes through more heavy use than most other parts, so it is inevitable that they experience wear and tear through the miles, whatever the road surfaces. Brake fluid, which runs through the pipes from the pedals to the wheels, doesn't last forever and sometimes needs refreshing.
A vehicle's suspension has two jobs: one, provide a smooth ride over bumps, and two, keep the wheels in contact with the road so you can safely control the car. Suspension parts wear out over time, and when they're worn, they can negatively impact the vehicle's ability to adapt to road conditions and handle properly.
Your exhaust has four main functions: to control noise, to direct exhaust fumes away from passengers, to improve the performance of the engine and to improve fuel consumption. These exhaust gases then travel through a catalytic converter which removes harmful elements including carbon monoxide and hydrogen monoxide which are converted into inert gases, on modern diesels they will also travel through a DPF Filter trapping all the soot particles.

After having my civic clutch actuator rebuilt, and getting it back in the car no one would touch it due to not having any experience in doing so as needed pressure bleeding and diagnostic, thought I would give Gavin a go he admitted the ishift is far and few between but was willing to give it ago, we arranged a time and he arrived earlier than… planned which was great and makes a change than having people arrive late. From the actuator failing to getting it rebuilt and back in was 3 weeks. It took Gavin about half hour to get it back on the road, he knew what needed to be done and cracked

Just had this lad out to do the brake disks and pads on my BMW, top notch service, went above and beyond and I paid what I was quoted, no hidden charges or anything like that, even done a few jobs I didnt expect at no extra cost. Arrived on time, without waiting forever for a timeslot. I'll be having him back next month for some more work. And will be using him for any future jobs. Very good prices, good craic too. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic and convenient service - can't recommend highly enough! Gavin was friendly, professional and genuine. Quickly identified the issue with my car and explained everything. Provided me with a quote that was excellent value for money - MUCH cheaper than what a garage would charge. Worked efficiently on the repair and I ended up paying less than the original quote as it was completed more quickly than anticipated - something that has never happened when taking it to a garage! Will definitely use again and recommend to everyone!

After getting a quote from main dealership for a diagnostic test (£102) and a further wait of approx 7 days to get completed we decidied to use C.A.R.S mobile mechanics. They were here the next day, completed diagnostic (£25), were so professional and excellant value for money. Would highly recommend and definitely wont be going anywhere else now.

A great service all round.
I had issues with my headlight that required the front bumper to be removed to access the light.
The job was awkward to say the least but once started he made sure the job was going to be finished!
Also fitted new led fog lights which ended up being another awkward job but all done to a very high standard.
Great price and great job, comes highly recommended and I will definitely use again.

Very impressed. Gave me a good price straight away to supply and fit a new cam position sensor on my 116i. Made time to come and see me after 6pm on Thursday evening (after I got back from work) and after being supplied with the incorrect part by motor factors came back next evening to finish off. Genuine bloke. Cheers.
