Services
Our lodges are truly lakeside. Each lodge has stunning views of our Wiltshire lakes and the views from our living rooms really are simply stunning. Each lodge has a generous deck with dining table for alfresco dining and an evening out here with a bottle of wine is truly a memorable experience! We are only truly comfortable if you are happy.
Our touring pitches are some of the biggest you will find in the UK. As we are new, we have the latest European 10m by 10m pitches (5m by 10m gravel and 5m by 10m grass). All have Electric hook up 10 amps in the Touring Field and 16 Amps in the Main Arena. There's plenty of room for all the family.
Our luxury lakeside hot tub lodges feature unrivalled views over the still waters of our beautiful hidden lakes. Spend an afternoon curled up with a good book on your private deck and enjoy the serene setting surrounded by nature. Fairwood Lakes features five luxury lakeside lodges including Jackdaw, our exciting new addition for 2021.
Wren's Den is a cute and cosy Shepherd's Hut set in the woods overlooking the main lake. Wren's Den has a double queen sized bed, a small dresser with coffee/tea making facilities and a small sofa/pew at the end of the bed. There is a Freeview TV in the hut, and a mini-fridge. There is electricity in the hut and it has a small oil-fired heater for those winter months.
Looking for some extra comfort beyond a tent? Our Treehouse Huts are for you. Each of our four huts are set in their own woodland area 2 metres above the ground, each featuring a balcony with steps leading up to the accommodation. No hot tubs, but plenty of home comforts including a queen sized double bed with enough room to pop up a travel cot.

Had a magical visit to see Santa and his helpers. All the staff were very friendly and there was lots to see - especially liked the elves on film! Both boys (12 & 10) loved the experience. Santa talked and joked with them - which was a big hit!

This is our 3rd visit to fairwood and it just gets better every time. we go to meet santa and he is by far THE BEST santa ever ( except the real one ) we take our son who is 34 ( very small for his age and has different needs) and our grandson. All of the staff take time to interact with them both. calling them by their 1st names always amazes… them. santa treats them both the same, chatting and asking what they would like. it melts our hearts that the staff are so lovely to all. Santa looks the part, acts the part and if I didn't know better ??? The hook a duck this year was a very welcome

Thank you so much for a wonderful Santa experience, our little one is only 15 months but I felt she took the magic in even without understanding the concept. Santa was fantastic & clearly able to adapt to all… age groups! Even got me believing again. We travelled an hour to come here & will be doing the same next year. Thank you so much for the magic & memories!

Spent the day here with the kids at the winter wonderland. They got to meet santa and Mrs Claus and genuinely had a great time. The last time we were here was at an Easter egg trail so there's always something going on. Highly recommended

Hidden gem. Extremely good father Christmas trail, with really well cast players, and some extra touches that the small one really loved. The elf village with complimentary hour chocolate was very good indeed. All the staff we encountered were really friendly. The facilities were all on offer to Christmas visitors, and small one really enjoyed the playground and the soft play area. The visit was well worth the money, and the gift was well received. Really good.

We will be coming back! The Lodges with Hot Tub were brilliant; everything we needed. The kids soft play was amazing, along with all of the other childrens toys. Peaceful location. Great opportunity to recover. Unfortunately, the washine machine was broken however they immediately offered the use of their washing machine and dryer without cost.

Stayed here beginning of October in Jackdaw Fri-Mon, beautiful lodge with hot tub and roll top bath over looking the small lake, very picturesque, lodge very comfortable and loved the design, only flaw we found was no plug socket in master bedroom. Staff really friendly and very helpful, the park itself is kept very clean and tidy, my partner enjoyed the fishing. Would be good to have the café open in evening for food and drink. We will definitely be going back next year.

We had a lovely weekend at the campsite, which we chose as it was close to my mother in law's house in Trowbridge. Despite the dog going walkabout at two am and our inflatable bed deflating 30 minutes after that, the campsite provided many memories that we will cherish. Great facilities for the kids, lovely walks, coffee shop and the janitor on his tractor converted from a lawnmower ( found in a shed in France, I was told) was always there to offer help.
