With its cobbled floors and low-beamed ceilings, the Hole in the Wall has been a regular for smugglers and business people alike. Providing a traditional pub atmosphere with great food and quality beer, the Hole in the Wall aims to provide first class service with a great social experience for all.

Good selection of ales to include Doom Bar, Butcombe Bitter, Otter Bitter and with as many as four changing guest beers and traditional real cider too, you will not be short of choice! A Fantastic traditional pub with loads of character and a cozy feel. I visited on holiday but if I lived locally, then I can promise you that I would definitely be a regular in this place.

Went for dinner on a Saturday evening. It took them a little while to get the starters out but the food was absolutely delicious! Had mussels as a starter and the trio of seafood as a special main. The garlic prawns that came with it were just yum and the veg were wonderfully marinated. And I never had such sublimely cooked new potatoes. Have been back for drinks since. Can only recommend this place for both drink and food. Although please get a local lager on tab. Not all of us are ale drinkers.

A very quaint public house located in one of the back streets in Torquay. One two or three course Sunday lunch is on offer with a choice of meats. I had the three course choice and very nice it was too. The service both by the bar staff as well as kitchen staff was excellent and could not be faulted. The pub has loads of atmosphere but you may have to avoid the low beams if you are large in stature. With a large choice of beverages it is well worth a visit

This pub has SO much character.
Visited on a Wednesday lunchtime, quite quiet. Asked for a dark coloured ale, the lady behind the bar knew her stuff and recommended one. Once it had settled the chap behind the bar noticed it was slightly cloudy.. and immediately asked if I wanted something else, even though I had drunk half of the first one. Both were great tasting! Love that they cared about their beer!
Ordered a crab sandwich and it was one of the best I've tasted and at a quite reasonable price!
Very impressed, can easily recommend!

Always come here for drinks and food it is a really great pub which has a cobbled floor in the bar area and little nooks and crannies to sit in which really add to the old age of the pub. There us usually a good choice of Ales to drink Ferryman by Exeter Brewery was a gorgeous drink on today's visit.
We had food too as is the norm when we go and as always the quality of food was excellent and good value too for what you get.
Prawn cocktail was very tasty really fresh prawns. The chips were excellent very hot and tasty triple cooked. The cod has skin on the bottom and the fish and batter was very
