Our relationship with Rodman Boats spans nearly 20 years. This historical base gives us a distinctive insight of the Rodman brand and enables us to offer our clients a tailored service.
Founded in 1974, the Rodman group is the oldest Spanish company in its sector. With over 14,000 boats having been constructed to date, Rodman are the indisputable leader of the Spanish nautical division. The Rodman group offer products that are diverse and versatile, combining high standards of quality, excellent sea keeping and maximum safety.
This 2011 Rodman 1170 really had the works. She got a new 'look' with a black vinyl hull wrap, Permateek decking and grey upholstery. To aid the single handed skipper, we fitted an additional Volvo IPS joystick in the cockpit, alongside the joysticks at the main and flybridge helms. For fishing, she had custom made stainless rod holders, outriggers, downriggers and custom made foldaway cockpit sea.

I don't think you would find a more genuine family company than RBS Marine. None of Bens advice was geared towards 'selling' us a boat, it was always with a focus on ensuring we bought the right boat for us.

I've been totally delighted by my experience when buying a Rodman 940 with the service and patience shown by both Ben and Dana. They are a terrific team. I recently bought my Yacht through RBS Marine and cannot recommend them highly enough! Both Dana and Ben, both of whom I had dealings with while purchasing a used boat were very helpful and approachable. I live some distance away so there was a lot of going back and forth with questions before I decided to take the 3hr drive to view and certainly nothing was too much problem for them.
Following purchase, the after sale experience wasn’t as good as I had hoped. I had the boat fully surveyed but due to the seller running out of fuel during the period after the sea but before I picked it up, one of the engines had to be bled which the seller did and subsequently caused leaks.
