Rounce Funeral Services Limited were awarded a top national honour at The Association Of Green Funeral Director's 2019 Good Funeral Awards in recognition of services to the bereaved. Rounce Funeral Services faced some incredibly tough competition from hundreds of nominees and finalists from all over the United Kingdom.
We are here to provide you with sensitive and professional advice to help you arrange a unique funeral. Unless the coroner is involved, you must have the medical cause of death certificate from the doctor before you can register the death. You will need to book an appointment to register a death. When someone dies there are many decisions and arrangements to make, all of which can be difficult in a time of grief.
If your loved one died at home, the first contact should be made to their Doctor or the Doctor on call. In most cases they will issue a medical certificate of cause of death. In some cases, if for example the death was sudden and unexpected, the Doctor will refer the deceased to the Coroner.
Your Funeral Director will liaise with all officials on your behalf and attend to all legal formalities with the exception of registration which they cannot do.Whenever you need the services of a Funeral Director, Rounce Funeral Services are proud to offer you their help and support. By choosing Rounce Funeral Services, you are assured of a trusted and caring Funeral Director who is dedicated to serving the needs of the local community.

Rounce funeral services were exceptional, they are very caring and treat both the deceased and family with dignity. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They go above and beyond, especially for me when things didn't quite go to plan, they were so supportive and there for me immediately and all the way through. I can't praise them enough and would highly recommend them.

Bereavement is overwhelming. To have to sort out practicalities when you are grieving is too terrible for words…However the team at Rounce Funeral Services were exceptional & helped make a terrible task, bearable. There’s no pressure or hard selling of package deals. Support & comfort were offered along with clear communication every step of the way. I highly recommend this family run business who take care of your loved ones with respect & dignity.

Thanks to the whole team at Rounce Funeral Services, for making Mum's funeral such an uplifting, and fitting tribute to her. Everything was exactly as we wanted, and as Mum would have wished. Zelly was so kind & helpful; and the celebrant, Jon Riley was simply wonderful. No hesitation in recommending Rounce Funeral Services to anyone.

Grateful thanks to all the team at Rounce for the considerate and dignified handling of our Mum's funeral.
Especially Zelly, who helped guide us through the whole process with patience, compassion and sensitivity. (and even a little giggle!)
From start to finish, nothing was too much trouble and we felt confident that our lovely Mum was in safe and caring hands.

A huge thank you to everyone at Rounce Funeral Services, especially Chris for his compassionate and calm understanding, willingness to listen to us and for trying his best to accommodate a funeral during these hideous conditions of Covid. I researched several local companies for my fathers funeral but Rounce had something extra. Their use of names, the word ‘client’ rather than that ghastly term ‘deceased’ all spoke to me that their company was caring and family orientated. We can’t thank them enough for making us feel like our dad and our family were the most important clients ever,
