The Old Watch House in Polruan nestles along the water's edge of the Fowey Estuary making it a truly unique residence. Accommodating up to 6 people very comfortably, it is the perfect choice for a family holiday or long weekend break with friends. All you can hear is the gentle lapping of the tides and through the picture windows from within the delightful, open planned living space, you could almost be floating on the water.
This Holiday Home in Cornwall sits on the River Fowey, giving you an envious position. It has three superb en-suite double bedrooms accommodating up to 6 guests very comfortably. Each spacious living area has a captivating view of the water and Fowey. The Old Watch House is a very unique holiday home.
There is a wonderful balcony that leads off the living area which has steps down to the water and the private boat mooring. You can hire a boat from our local supplier or you can bring your own on holiday with you. We have been using the Jetty on the main Quay to moor the boats due to the tides. Maurice will deliver the boat to you and will take you through a 15-20 minute tutorial, covering the use of the boat and the rules of the river.
Please email Louise direct at [email protected] with Availability enquiries and Booking requests. Please Note: We do not have an on-line booking facility as we would like to provide a personal holiday service to our enquirers by speaking with them. All emails & phone messages are responded to quickly and efficiently.
A characteristic Cornish fishing village, in the Parish of Lanteglos, near Fowey, on the South coast of Cornwall, England. Famous for its boat building heritage it still holds much of the traditional Cornish charm; a remote, cheerful village with narrow alleyways and plenty of history. Bound by water on 3 sides; Penpoli Creek to the North, The Fowey River to the West and the Sea to the South.
