Services
Cricket in the late 1950s and 1960s was played in Pinkney Park with kind permission and plenty of support from Major Rowcliffe. He remained as president of the club through it's duration. He used to entertain his staff from his London office with a hospitality marquee overlooking the ground. The club always arranged a home fixtures and afterwards the teams were welcome to the festivities.
Following the unfortunate closure of Globe Sports, the "Kit man" has been busy sourcing a new supplier. The club are delighted to announce a new partnership with local company, Sporting Billy, who are based in Chippenham. By using the online supplier, this means that kit can be purchased at any time during the season and is not restricted to the windows we have been used to.
Following updated guidance from the ECB we are updating our usage policy For All A maximum of 6 people will be allowed on the ground at any one time. Session times will be increased to 1 hour with 15mins between sessions. The toilets will remain closed. No sharing of cricket balls. No saliva or sweat to be put onto balls.
You can now book onto this years All Stars Cricket. This is a fun nationally run 8 weeks of introduction to cricket and is open to anyone that is in, year 1 or year 2. We are currently limiting it to 40 kids so please sign up as soon as you can. If your child took part last year but is now in year 4 and wants to continue playing please refer to the main junior page here.
