If a person dies who has made a Will, then they will need a Grant of Probate which gives the executors legal authority to administer the estate. If a person has appointed Executors, but they have died before the Testator (the person who has made the will), then you would need to apply for a Grant of Letters of Administration with will annexed.

This is where I get all my will & affairs sorted including power of attorney etc. I’d highly recommend them to put your mind at rest & get your affairs in order. They are easily accessible for all over the East Midlands serving Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire & surrounding areas. You will receive straightforward, down to earth advice - I was given all the facts I needed to consider when making my will & getting other matters in order. Thankyou Fiona & all at FF Legal Services.
