The Slinky Fox produces mouth watering Artisan wood-fired pizzas. We use authentic Italian ingredients because maintaining Italian traditions is at the heart of what we do, so think Neapolitan with room for debate, in order to keep Neapolitan purists on side. We combine delicious heritage ingredients such as Caputo flour for our dough, Pelati tomatoes in our sauce to gain depth of flavour and fior di latte mozzarella.
Where possible we source all the ingredients for our toppings from local suppliers to reduce the impact on the environment. We slowly ferment our dough and hand stretch each pizza to order which are then cooked in our Amodio wood-fired oven, giving them their unique flavour. We provide bespoke wedding packages in collaboration with the Bride and Groom so that you get the experience and food package that your special day deserves.

After undertaking a number of jobs but never being fulfilled or passionate about any of them, I decided to open The Slinky Fox in 2016. My passion lies in making great tasting artisan pizzas that display my love for simple, high quality ingredients, sourced as locally as possible.

The Slinky Fox recently catered at our workplace and the pizzas were absolutely delicious! Handmade fresh right in front of you with a range of toppings that just kept us going back for more - personal favourite was the Smokey Goat, a flavour combination I never would have thought to have put on a pizza but this was a sensation!!

The Slinky Fox catered for my daughter's wedding and the food and service were excellent! I am gluten and dairy intolerant and they brought me two separate plates of starters with the things that I could eat… and then came to ask me which pizza I would like as they were going to cook mine first to avoid cross-contamination. The food was delicious and I was very impressed by their willingness to accommodate my food intolerances. Would not hesitate to recommend The Slinky Fox.

I don’t know where to start with my review on this FANTASTIC business!! 😊 One of the best decisions we made was booking The Slinky Fox to do the evening food at our wedding last Saturday (21/08/21) Kay is lovely and an absolute pleasure to deal with! We would both like to say a heartfelt thankyou for providing such a great service. Kay and her team… were friendly and efficient. The pizzas were out of this world!! 😍 So, so many of our guests told us how delicious the pizza was, the best pizza they had ever had in fact! We also received feedback from friends and family

Kay and the team catered for our wedding this summer and I can't recommend them enough. The food was incredible, and Kay worked with us closely to make sure we were happy with the delicious menu ahead of the day. The service on the day was totally smooth and staff super friendly. What's more, we were having a vegan wedding, so Kay had to do a totally vegan menu. She did such a great job that our meat eating friends couldn't believe how much they were enjoying it!
