Anglia Towbars (Newmarket) Limited is the National Trailer and Towing Association's Quality Assured, Approved and Recommended tow bar fitting establishment for this area. Our Company premises are made up of a Reception and waiting area, a stockroom and a purpose built workshop where the actual fitting takes place.
The Fixed Swan Neck: also a popular choice as its shape is often seen to be more aesthetically pleasing. It is used for towing a trailer or a caravan, but can only be used for 'Ball Mounted' cycle carriers, (usually the Platform types). These tow bars do not fit certain models, please check. The Swan Neck Detachable: when you don't want to see your tow bar, or you keep banging your leg on it, this is the tow bar to suit you.
We carry many towing accessories in stock. We can order Ball Mounted Steps, which are double, or single sided and can be left or right handed depending on requirements. Light Boards: the sizes we stock are 3ft with 3m cable, 4ft with 5m cable or 4ft 6in with 6m cable. Adjustable Height Couplings: which are suitable for plant, for moving one or more trailers which have different heights.
For these electrical installations we will use a towing interface relay. This is run through a fused electrical system with an audible warning in the back to alert you if the indicators are not working. Dedicated Wiring kits let your car know that it is towing, and work with the car, such as cars which have Vehicle Stability Control.
