Acoustic Consultants Limited was formed in 1987 by Stephen Peliza after a career working for small and large consultancy firms addressing building acoustics and noise from building services. Seeing a need in the market for specialist noise and acoustic only consultancies, Stephen started his own firm with the aim of providing high quality, independent and pragmatic advice to architects, contractors and developers.
As a company ethos we ensure no member concentrates on one specific area of noise and acoustics. We employ a mixture of both young and experienced acousticians including a team of ANC accredited technicians based in Bristol, Manchester and South Wales who can advise on a wide range of noise and acoustics.

If I could provide zero stars I would. We ended up in dispute with our builder and Acoustic Consultants had been used by them following my recommendation. I contacted them to see how we could move forward even if that resulted in us paying again for the sound testing. I was asked to email, and then for a week they didn't even make any attempt to respond, especially in light of the fact they understood that there were time constraints. I appreciate they may not have been able to carry out the sound testing, but they were disinterested and unprofessional to say the least. A simple sentence to advise
