Maisy gained a Masters degree in Applied Linguistics. She is a full member of The Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIoL) and The Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) in the UK. Her dedication to assist in effective cross-cultural communication both in written and spoken Chinese spans over a decade.
She works as a translator/proofreader (owns translation memory software SDL Trados Studio) and copywriter/transcreator. She also provides desk top publishing services using Adobe Acrobat, Dreamwaver, Illustrator and Indesign. Maisy is proud to have donated time to help in the Against Malaria Campaign to translate their website into Chinese.
