From researching the countries and the coffee varieties, roasting the beans, choosing which of the many coffee 'tools' to offer to our customers, chatting in the shop and of course drinking freshly roasted coffee.
We buy speciality green beans from importers who buy from farmers or co-operatives. We work closely with the importers and have even met some of the farmers who grow your beans. We believe it is vital to respect the rights of the farmers and their workers and collaborate to ensure we, and they, are striving to preserve the natural environment.

Services
At Inverness Coffee Roasting Co we are passionate about all things coffee, especially the craft of teasing out the best in every bean, through careful selection of ethically sourced beans and skilled roasting appropriate to the characteristics of each varietal. Kev said "yes". Heather said "who?". Kev said "me"!
This is just the same as before, you pay upfront for 3, 6 or 12 months periods and we send you our Coffee Of Month (ground to your desired brew method) every month with an info card telling you all about it. You pay once at the start (including an upfront shipping charge) and that's it. Payment is set to non-recurring by default, but you can change any time this in your Account settings HERE.
We roast and dispatch our coffee directly from the Highlands so it arrives fresh, we provide training so it can be served well, and we can help you source the perfect kit to make it all work. As an Australian, I know what good coffee tastes like - and this is up there in the great coffee standing.
Small shop with a selection of beans to buy and take home. I really liked the compostable cups used (I forgot my keep up today). Grab a bite to eat at the Grumpy Chef next door for the perfect pairing

Visited this coffee place twice during visit to Inverness area - we were on the search for a decent coffee and this place delivered. The coffee is well prepared and service was friendly. They offer milk alternatives as well as my friend only drinks oat milk.
You can also pick up bags of beans and have these ground on site.
Well worth a visit.
Note: Due to current Covid restrictions, there is no seating inside but a few tables outside shop.

Finally, amazing coffee in Scotland! This place really does a fantastic job of spreading the good word about the holy bean - not only is the fresh-brewed stuff top-notch, but the wide range of coffee supplies and paraphernalia is peerless.
Top recommendation: flat white with a Scottish tablet (aka butterscotch) on the side.
Thanks a million, you guys, for bringing a tear to the eye and a caffeine boost to the bloodstream of this homesick Australian!

What a discovery! A friend and I hit the breaks after we spotted this place, parked up and went in in hope of a nice coffee. We weren't disappointed!
We hung out for ages with the new owner, had a great experience and stocked up... I'm still enjoying my coffee but only because I ration it. Excellent quality & delicious. Visit! You won't be disappointed.
