This course meets the minimum requirements under the Regulatory Reform Order (Fire safety) 2005, but organisations who wish to benefit from a greater understanding of fire and fire prevention, and training in the use of extinguishers on live fire, should consider the Fire Awareness course.

The course is designed to provide a very cost-effective way of training you with the minimum disruption to your work. This course will be of benefit to childminders and help them to achieve a greater understanding of fire and fire prevention, and training in the use of a fire blanket on a live fire scenario.
To provide employees with the necessary skills to evacuate disabled employees in the event of a fire or evacuation drill. This course meets the requirements under the Regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) 2005 to evacuate disabled employees without outside assistance, and covers the Disability Discrimination Act 2004.
The course has been designed to provide staff working in a Care home setting, with an understanding of how to reduce the risk of fire in the workplace and how to respond in the event of a fire. The training will also ensure that the use of fire extinguishers for 'first aid' firefighting will be both safe and effective.
