We're a small firm of bookkeepers/accountants who specialise in small-medium sized businesses. Our office is based on the historic Barbican in Plymouth. So many of our Bookkeeping /Accountancy colleagues will only be available to see you between 09:00 and 17:00 Mondays to Fridays; but unfortunately those are also the hours when many of you are working.
Malcolm comes from a Barbican family, his father was born in Pin Lane and the family business "Harrison and Sons, Ship Chandlers" occupied premises on Southside Street for 100 years! Malcolm was educated at Widey Technical school and St Luke's College Exeter, upon graduating he spent 10 very successful years as a junior school teacher both in Hertfordshire and later in Devon; incidentally some of his former pupils are now our clients.
Gareth Harrison is the Operations Director and Payroll Manager, he works with clients ensuring all their payroll needs are met in a quick efficient service ensure employees are paid on time to the clients needs. Gareth produces reports and payslips which are delivered to the clients by the specified time.
Peter joined the team at MH Associates in 2008, initially as an apprentice Bookkeeper, having completed his AAT level 3 at Acacia Training and working towards his level 4 qualification. Peter grew up locally in the Plymouth area, being educated at Compton C of E School and then Eggbuckland Community College.
