After working with her mum in her shop in Northallerton -Crafts Upstairs for those that remember it- we decided to open the shop in Keighley. We moved on to Church Street for 5 years then moved back to South Street and changed the name to Sewing Machines and Crafts. Diana has dealt with Brother for over 50 years first with Knitting machines and then sewing machines and between them have a vast knowledge on all machines.

Won’t be back. Pretty much the first thing the woman did was slag off the local competition and the machine I had bought from them. I have a quality machine which works well and had only gone in for some haberdashery! You couldn’t make it up.

I was desperate for some Craft Cotton Company fat quarters to finish a project and Carole a lovely lady took the time to search her stock, found what I wanted and phoned me. I was able to do a direct payment to her bank and 2 days later (this morning) the postie has delivered them. A great service she will definitely be my number one online go to shop. I would recommend this store to anyone! Carol is one of the nicest genuine people I have had the pleasure of meeting. After a nightmare with a well known 'big company', I searched out a small business that was local to me. The customer service is way above expectation and I was kept well informed at every step. The store it's self is welcoming, well stocked and more than fairly priced.
