In recent years we have designed, modified & created our very own range of heavy duty robust Long Arm sewing machines that are original, innovative & versatile completley unmatched anywhere in the soft furnishing & quilting markets.
Services
We offer a full service and repair facility for domestic sewing, overlock and embroidery machines. Your machine can be dropped off in person to our branch location in Rochdale. Your machines should include the power lead, foot control, bobbin and bobbin case, and standard presser foot.
If you are experiencing problems with a particular material or thread type, please include a sample of both so our technicians can identify any potential issues and provide you with advice and guidance.

I took my daughters sewing machine in for a repair having been damaged in a recent house removal. The service was prompt, professional, pleasant and thorough. I took the machine on Tuesday afternoon it was ready for collection on Thursday afternoon , having had a thorough check and repair . I have used SA Sewing Machines before and highly recommend them. In this case I even brought the machine from Preston as I knew I would get good service.

Had to call in to pick up the wife’s parts she had ordered.
Entry via a buzzer, Covid controls all in place and on a plus point treated like a human being. Mask wearing was optional which made discussing things easier. Social distancing was never compromised.
When you consider you can go to any supermarket , where there is no social distancing being adhered to and mask wearing is dubious as most wear them below the nose !! Thankfully small independent businesses like this are still around. Yes I could if ordered my wife’s part online but I wouldn’t of received free advice on how to fit

I have an old Viking Husqvarna machine (obsolete now but still in excellent working order) but the bobbin case broke. I contacted VH uk who gave me the part number but weren’t able to provide me with it. I had to contact stockists of VH machines around the country. Only 2 came back to me; one didn’t have the part but SA Sewing Machines came back to… me and said that they would check their whole warehouse for this 1 obsolete part for me! Sure enough, they came back to me when they said they would and actually had one! I spoke with both Shirley and the owner, both of whom were

Tried everywhere to find a Janome HD9. Lots of people advertising them but didn’t actually have them in stock. SA Sewing Machines were really helpful and sold me their last one. Which I picked up soon after ordering over the phone. Lovely staff, very helpful and Friendly. Will be returning for my next machine. 😊

Covid precautions: Entry on buzzer, yet staff not wearing face coverings and male staff commented on my wearing a visor, said that it would be 'easier' if no one wore face coverings. 2nd lockdown means it won't be easier for anyone. Karma.

I have not bought a machine from here yet but I was over the moon with the attention to detail, help, advice and much, much more when I visited this stand st the Harrogate Quilting Show on 31.08.2019.
I am looking for a long arm quilting machine and I think I have fallen in love with one of Saheed's machines.. (the ball bearing one).
If after sales and service is like Saturday then a happy customer I will be.

6 weeks to wait for the work to be done. Service completed without permission. Total cost almost as much as buying a brand new one! No communication at all until I had rang up 3 times and promised a call back. Very very aggressive man when I picked up my machine, pointed his finger at me and swore repeatedly. Insisted on cash, I could pay with a… debit card or Paypal- locked me in his shop! I was so afraid of his behaviour that I started to record the conversation- he was on the phone to ‘Shirley’ and told her to tell me what he does to people like this speak to me like this

I took my grans sewing machine for a quote for repair I was told it would be £15 for a quote and they would get back to me in a week. 2 weeks later I phone for an update they told me the price to repair the sewing machine and that they would charge me an extra £10 to get my grans machine back.
What a rip of don't use these guys.
Response to the owner after their reply this was not stated verbally or via a terms and condition document when i dropped the machine in for repair
