Live and Kicking Out of School Club aims to provide childcare at a reasonable cost, within a relaxed but stimulating environment of friendship and creativity for children. The individuality of each child will be respected and nurtured - we will value the children who attend the provision. Live and Kicking actively encourages good relationships with parents and other providers in the area.
We also provide care for children with profound and learning difficulties these are met through individuals needs, the carer and through our SENCO trained staff members. We aim to meet the needs of all children giving them opportunities to gain personal and social and emotional development, benefiting from activities and resources which help them to value diversity.

Services
Our provision is registered with OFSTED ( office for standards in education), and link with Blackburn with Darwen Early Years Service. Live and Kicking provide a safe warm quality environment that is affordable to local parents. We also offer a wide range of stimulating resources that will cover both cultural and multicultural events to develop children's skills through play and education.
Residing in the Blackburn area, Fiona has worked for many years in the childcare sector. Safeguarding, NVQ Level 4 in Childcare and Education, Level 2 in Playwork, Paediatric First Aid, Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering, Investors in People Award and Child Protection. She holds an array of Health and Safety certificates and has also gained the Makaton qualification in Sign Language.
During our daughter's time at Live and Kicking she has managed to make great friends and has been looked after really well. The staff have alweays been totally professional in their approach and have ensured both Abigail's and the rest of the children's safety is paramount. Live and Kicking are flexible and support families in their need to drop off at 7.30am and stay open until 6pm which we have found to be invaluable in our busy work lives.

Always go above and beyond for the kids and you can see how much you all love your jobs , so lucky to have yous , one of a kind children’s club I’ve ever come across ❤️ could not recommend enough , recently seen the club blossom and more children attending/ expanding its loverly to see , my daughter requests to go in extra in the holidays!

My little boy loves live and kicking! He has been going since he started school and is now nearly 10. All the staff are kind, caring and really nurturing and are so attentive to all the different needs of the children. I never have any reason to worry when He is there as I know he will be having the best time and that he is well looked after and… safe. Fiona and her staff take their roles seriously and all safeguarding measures are in place without compromising on the fun that live and kicking provide. They offer trips out, outdoor play and loads of activities that cover all the wants and

I can quite honestly say that my son absolutly loves live and kicking. He has previously refused to go to nursary and ran out crying before now. But now he runs in to live and kicking and i struggle to get him out he loves it that much. Theyre creative, fun and just a great bunch of girls. I couldnt ask for a better place for my son to go. Xx
