Hi my name is Sophie I am 32 years old and live with my husband. We have two children together aged 7and 11 years. I have a level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Early Years and I have 7 years experience working in a nursery as a qualified nursery nurse and I have been a childminder since 2013. I am also a fully qualified paediatric first aider.
Prior to this I was a private nanny for three children. I have a lot of experience with children of all ages and having two of my own, helps me understand the needs of children. I live in a detached house 30 seconds walk away from worden Park! There is very easy access to a large back garden with access to a slide, water play, footballs and outdoor toys.

Services
I provide a drop off and pick up service from St Andrews and Woodlea junior school in leyland. I often take the children to play centers/children's groups to encourage social behaviour and also gives the children the chance to interact with others. A range of healthy meals and snacks are provided throughout the day, including homemade pureed food for babies.

Sophie has been minding my 2 daughters aged 4 & 2 while I have been attending University. At all times Sophie has been professional, kind, considerate, flexible and helpful. She looked after Tia from 7.30a.m. – 6p.m. 5 days a week, and my other daughter before and after school. My children have grown a great bond with Sophie and I would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending her, we are sadly leaving the area and can no longer use Sophie.

If you are looking for a 5 Star childminder service then Sophie's Childminding is for you. With two converted rooms just for kids gives the nearest experience to a day nursery but at a fraction of the cost. There is also a School drop off and collection service from St Andrews Primary School and with other children already attending Sophie's Childminding gives your child the opportunity to learn and develop with other children out of school hours.
