After each auction, we are inundated with requests to pack and send items. We do our best to accommodate as many of our purchasers as quickly as possible but the nature of the items we are prepared to pack & post are entirely at the discretion of the Auctioneers.
2018 started well, with this Royal Copenhagen porcelain falcon ornament sold in our live sale at the end of January. This is an early example of this model & was sold for 440. This exquisite Edwardian inlaid mahogany sideboard shows some top quality period craftsmanship. With a six character Ming dynasty mark of the emperor Xuande.

Excellent service
Used Smellies to clear my late mothers flat. Could not have been more pleased with the service from start to finish. Communications were clear and efficient and Jim and Chris and another member of staff (sorry didn't catch your name) turned up on time, were polite and very respectful of the property and the circumstances. They did an excellent job and would not hesitate to recommend.

This a great , local auction house. Doubt whether you would find any Turner paintings, but as for local interest it is excellent. Had many bargains from here. I have bought furniture, books, collectibles and various other bits and pieces. Staff are very approachable. There is a mobile diner available each Monday auction day. A great place to meet other buyers. Weekly auction viewing is Friday 4 - 6 and the auction takes place on Monday starting at 0930 prompt.

I have bought and sold various items over the years. Recently they have started a live bidding sale on the Last Monday of each month. The prices at their sale on Monday were through the roof, i still manages to buy some rare whisky bottles and enjoyed my day. The staff are very helpful and the saleroom is always packed with buyers.

A great auction house situated in the heart of Hamilton, next door to the Bombay Cottage, also a great wee place...
We had a superb day out & were surprised with the variety of items that were up for sale. With lots selling from £2 - £3 going way up through the spectrum with some of the star lots reaching 4 figures. The staff were all friendly & it was all & all a great day.

Ignore the bad reviews I have been buying and selling with Hamilton Auction Mart for many years and have always been impressed with the prices realised and the friendly service provided. Simply drop your goods off mid week, with viewing on the Friday and your items are sold on the following Monday. They offer the lowest selling commission anywhere I know and the fastest payment. You will receive payment by cash or cheque four days after the sale - what more could you ask for? Many other auction houses take up to six weeks to pay. Nothing ever goes unsold unless you set to high a reserve so this
