Euan and the team are a fantastic firm, and I would recommend to anyone either starting out or looking to change their firm. They dealt very professionally with the transfer from my previous accountant while picking up the pieces of partially completed returns. After doing a lot of investigation for myself I phoned the office today with a very specific question about CGT in relation to a FHL. Was directed to the HMRC calculator - when I said that my question was in relation to the different rates of CGT for FHL's compared to 2nd properties and the qualifying years and evidence required for this the woman said "Oh I don't know about that go to the calculator". Given that their website specifically highlights FHL's and the tax situation this is why I chose to contact them. Wouldn't recommend.
