Shades Colour Centre has been providing leading paints, wallpapers and fabrics to professionals and avid home decorators since the 70s. Beginning life as a retail and trade outlet in Essex, our store was opened in the Woodford area and we are happy to have established in the local community and count various schools and colleges amongst our many trade accounts.

We offer a huge choice for our customers, boasting over 400 pattern books, as well as painting matching facilities. With years of experience, our helpful staff can assist with simple colour dilemmas through to complicated technical queries.

I use this paint shop a lot... the guys are very helpful, they always are there to help and provide the best paint and materials you need. I felt I had to say as going from the last review I must say it must of been a understanding, I’ve never had a problem in over 2 years! That’s saying something! Once you've been to this shop, you will NEVER go to a DIY supermarket again!
These guys are really knowledgeable about their products and decorating, and are always cheerful and friendly and keen to help.
They have an excellent range of items, very quick ordering in for non-stock items, and a great range of pattern books and samples for wallpapers. Browsing there is a pleasure!
The prices are excellent too!
