At South West Spas we will professionally maintain your hot tub so that it's ready to use for any occasion and at any time of year. We offer regular spa cleaning, spa maintenance, start up and shut down services. We are a small independent company and Alan, our service technician, has years of experience.
Having worked in the hot tub industry since 2007, Alan has come across equipment from all hot tub manufacturers and he now only uses top end brands. Hydrotherapy massage works to relax your muscles and relieve pressure on nerves. It also boosts circulation and accelerates the body's natural healing process.
There are some parts of a hot tub which can be easily replaced to prolong its life. When the spa owner knows what is wrong with it, finding replacement parts from a reputable dealer is fairly easy. Getting the exact replacement part from the manufacturer is not always necessary, but it is necessary to know the name of the manufacturer of your hot tub and the model number when ordering replacement parts.
Hot tub covers can be expensive, but it's better to invest in a high quality hot tub cover rather than purchasing a cheap one because you could end up paying twice. Traditional rigid foam spa covers can get damaged or completely destroyed by heavy rain or snow - even within the very first year of owning your spa.
Spa water is frequently heated and used over and over again for weeks or even months, so it has to be treated with chemicals to remove all bacteria from the water. Alan fitted us in a short notice. Being dramatic here but he was a life saver, as the hot tub was in our occupied holiday rental. He was superb and will be servicing and looking after our hot tub from now on. Highly recommended and really nice to have someone so reliable and professional...a hot tub whisperer for sure.

Hand on heart I can't rate Alan highly enough. I spent several months trying to get my hot tub serviced yet was continually let down by numerous companies. I also had an issue with it tripping the electrics in my laundry room each time the tub was turned on. One chap told me this was absolute nonsense (so I'm relieved he didn't service it!!). I came across Alan's very professional web site. On the list of 'common problems' was tripping electrics so I sent him an email. Alan stated (as all others had) it would be several weeks before he could attend. I had been let down so much I honestly didn't

Alan was superb. Secured a new pump at a competitive price, using details I supplied. When it transpired my pump was a slightly unusual fit he adapted it to fit. Just the sort of engineer you need when things aren’t straightforward. Highly recommended.

We recently moved into our new house last week and inherited a hot tub that was in the back garden after talking with the old owner it was clear that the tub would need a good service due to lack of maintenance. I contacted South west spas and soon got talking to Allan and he suggested having a full service and explained what would be involved.
… the morning of the service Allan arrived about half an hour early and I thought that was amazing. He got straight to work and very quickly had the cleaning chemicals out to flush the hot tub and from the pictures I received in the email this evening

Alan was so helpful, very professional and a lovely guy - nothing was a bother. He bought a new filter with him as requested, fitted this and resolved the overheating issue with my hottub. I have found a gem of service delivery and will not be going anywhere else that's for sure. Fantastic customer experience Thankyou so much Alan 👍

Alan was very competent and efficient and offers a reassuring professional and friendly service. The only drawback is that he is so good at his job he is very much in demand. Excellent.

I would highly recommend Alan from South West Spas. He instantly knew what the problem was from a phone diagnosis, and I had searched all over the internet but couldn’t find the answer. Sure enough he was right and sorted the problem in a very timely manner which was reassuringly less than was expected. I would definitely use South West Spas for any future hot tub issue. What a find! Alan fixed our ailing hot tub with great efficiency and expertise. He is also courteous and friendly. He takes the time to explain what is going on in a way that we can understand and is kind and patient while being a cutting-edge pro at the same time. We are so fortunate that he is local to us here in Devon. His fees are completely reasonable, too. Now that he has fixed our hot tub, we will be calling on him again soon for a service and refill before we swing into the summer months.
