Podiatry tends to be focused on foot pain and its causes, bio-mechanics, orthotics, gait analysis, sports medicine and muscular skeletal problems. However there is considerable cross over when it comes to the impact of systemic illness like diabetes vascular disease and neurological problems. However all podiatrists can deal with traditional Chiropody problems like corns, callus, thickend nails, verrucae, bunions and the like.

Orthotics or Orthoses are foot supports that fit in your shoes and balance biomechanical inadequacies in your feet and legs. Our feet are designed to adapt to many different surfaces. However, the surfaces we walk on have been changed by man, who has created more stable environments by laying down coverings such as concrete and tarmac which can adversely affect our feet.

I went to see Nick for a nail problem. I was extremely impressed by his knowledge, professionalism and patience. He is a kind and compassionate professional who listened to me carefully and helped relieve my pain, at least in the short-term. He also signposted me to other services that could offer solutions in the long-term. Can't recommend him enough. Thank you Nick!

Just got out of an appointment here and all I can say is wow.. Great, professional and relaxed. I felt pampered (i'm a burly guy so i don't get that often) and looked after, given great and easy to follow advice regarding my tendons even though I went in there for my toe nails. Couldn't recommend Nick more!!

After having had multiple failed attempts at minor surgery on my ingrown toenails, resulting in an infection that has lasted 12 weeks, I rang this podiatrist desperately looking for help as I'd been on the nhs waiting list for 12 weeks already.
He was so so helpful. Told me immediately what I could do that might help and booked me in for an appointment. He was honest and said that he might not be able to help but that he would look at my toes for me and see what we could do from there.
I had my appointment with him yesterday and he was genuinely very helpful! Thankfully he could do something

I was suffering a great deal of pain with my left foot, Nick examined the area and diagnosed the issue and supplied a temporary orthotic , which eliminated the pain. Within ten days I had a bespoke orthotic made specifically for my foot. The diagnosis required my GP to request an ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis. However my GP disagreed and would not request the ultrasound. Nick then wrote to my GP with his full diagnosis and convinced my GP to request the ultrasound. After the ultrasound Nick's diagnosis was found to be correct and the NHS started the treatment.
