Services
Berkhamsted Foot Clinic was established in 2011 by Debbie Herd an experienced, qualified Podiatrist (Chiropodist), dedicated to promoting positive foot health by providing a comprehensive range of professional services for people with lower limb and foot health problems. Specifically targeting those with the greatest podiatry needs, those who have a medical condition or those taking medication that puts their feet at risk of damage or infection.
Podiatrists are highly skilled health professionals who have been trained to prevent, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate abnormal conditions of the feet and lower limbs. They also prevent and correct deformity, keep people mobile and active, relieve pain and treat infections. Podiatry and chiropody are protected titles in law and only those who are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) are legally entitled to use them.
A biomechanical assessment is very beneficial if you are experiencing pain in your feet or lower limbs, if no cause has been established. During consultation with our Podiatrists, a biomechanical assessment is carried out involving examination and manipulation of the lower limbs.

Assessment is aimed to focus on the structure and alignment of the body, to identify strengths and weakness of the foot; involving the pelvis, legs, knees and ankles resulting in pain symptoms.
We recognise that there may be occasions when our clients may be unable to attend or need to move their appointments. Although we will endeavour to accommodate your needs, please notify us of your intention 48 hours prior to your arranged appointment so that this can be made available to other clients in order to avoid a cancellation or full appointment fee being charged.
