Hypnosis is a natural state of deep relaxation and concentration with heightened awareness. You are not asleep nor is there any possibility you would lose control. It uses the subconscious to enhance the power of the mind to aid the improvement of both your physical and mental health. Hypnotherapy and NLP help to break unhelpful thinking patterns and create new positive thoughts which in turn make you change.
Nutritional advisor takes time to gather a detailed case history from each client, for example we would ask for food and activity diary for7 days, this should include times you eat, and how hungry you were at that particular time, were you seated at the table to eat or watching the tv etc. Working with you is a two way process to create a realistic personalised plan that will fit in with your lifestyle and easier to maintain, rather than one size fits all.
For many people, smoking is an unwanted habit they desperately want to kick - especially now that the public ban has made smoking so socially unacceptable. Yet despite a profound desire to get the monkey off their back, a great many smokers find it really hard to quit. Lots of smokers have tried, often repeatedly, to end their dependency, only to succumb in a moment of weakness to 'just the one' and quickly find themselves hooked again.
The Bowen Technique uses a gentle rolling action over soft tissue to potentially create a signal to the brain. The treatment affects the body in ways that promote healing, pain relief and recovery of energy. The experience of the treatment is gentle, subtle and relaxing, and it is these features that make the Bowen Technique unique.
The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) incorporates techniquesfrom holistic therapies such as acupressure, energy medicine and neurolinguisticprogramming. Many Eastern medicine models are founded on the belief that there are channels of energy within the body. It is thought that, when these channels (known as meridians) become blocked, energy becomes unbalanced.

I had been to many many people before to help me with my trauma from the loss of a parent and from the abuse of a step parent. I never thought I would be able to smile again and to not have the constant flashbacks occurring randomly. It was draining and put me at a constant low and everyone around me didn’t know what to do. Panic attacks would take over and I stopped going out with friends and enjoying living. Having low expectations due to years of various counselling and treatments for anxiety and depression, I am blown away by the results I've had with Michelle. Totally at ease from the moment I walked through the door, the sessions are unique, relaxing, calming and many other descriptives thrown into one! I had my sessions with Michelle remotely due to lockdown and they were a revelation. I too had tried counselling but despite weekly sessions over several months, how I felt about myself wasn't getting any better. After just a couple of months seeing Michelle I feel totally different. Not only have I learned how distorted some of my thoughts have been, but I've now got skills to use and the confidence that I can - and will - feel better longterm. I would absolutely recommend Michelle.

Well what can i say! Michelle is an understanding kind person who made me feel at ease on my first appointment, My son committed suicide and the grief was intense and consuming, after 6 sessions with Michelle i dont have the horrifying dark thoughts that i used to have, she has given me my life back, i cant thank her enough, she has helped with various other issues in my life and i can actually feel happy and sleep again, my partner & family have noticed a big difference in me, Michelle you are awesome! From being depressed and anxious as recently as 3 months ago, I feel a different person after just 6 sessions of therapy with Michelle Collins. This was way outside my comfort zone but taking the step to pick up the phone and call her was simply the best thing I have done in a very long time. It is not always easy to realise that you need help to unlock and process memories and experiences that are 'blocking' the way to fully enjoying life but Michelle made it so easy right from that first discussion on the telephone.
