As our women's and men's teams rise higher and higher up the Leagues, we create more and more awareness and support for change and social good.
Lewes Football Club is committed to ensuring the club has the correct processes and procedures in place to ensure children and adults are able to take part in football in a safe, fun and enjoyable environment. The Welfare Officer is involved in the recruitment process when we have appointed a new Coach.
Our football coaching sessions for kids are aimed at increasing grassroots participation in football with the emphasis of making each session fun and enjoyable. They are for Boys and Girls, regardless of ability who want to improve their football skills and make new friends. Age limits will apply dependent upon the session being delivered.
A drop in session every Friday at 8pm for men and women, catering for adult beginners and people who have played before. Football Therapy is a Mental Well-Being session that runs on Thursdays between 7-8pm. Each session has a qualified coach and a qualified support worker, so you can turn up and just play football and also talk to someone confidentially about anything.
Lewes has a fifteen minute train service to Brighton, departing approximately every fifteen minutes in both directions. There is a direct London train approximately every 30 minutes to Victoria, via Gatwick Airport and Clapham Junction. Lewes railway station is a two minute walk from the Dripping Pan.

The dripping pan is a memorable ground set in a natural bowl and is situated near to the train station and town centre.
Parking is limited where a 10 minute walk maybe needed to the college parking down the road.
Lewes is a lovely town with plenty of unique shops and many pubs and restaurants.
A tour of the nearby Harveys brewery is worth a visit where samples of their wares are on offer !
