Our caravan in Barmouth was looking a little beaten. The previous owners had 3 kids and 2 dogs, so the upholstery was a little worse for wear to say the least. My wife contacted Chris after our friends had their caravan re-upholstered by him and she had been round for a catch up. She was really impressed and convinced me that we should pay a little attention to ours.

Working during lockdown can't have been easy. We had conversations with about 20 upholsterers - some local non-specialists, some specialist 'leisure vehicle' upholsterers - all over the country in fact. We got quotes from them all, having provided 3D images from CAD of the exact layout and dimensions. Of all the ones we spoke to, A1 were head and shoulders above the rest. Our friend Craig had his campervan cushions made by A1 and we too wanted a quality job like his. We approached A1 who were very helpful in supplying fabric samples and costings.
They were easy to deal with and it wasn't long until they were arranging delivery to us.

We bought a touring caravan relatively cheaply and inherited some very dated floral patterned soft furnishings. I contacted A1 caravan and motorhome upholstery to enquire about having the whole van reupholstered and they were brilliant. They gave a fair quote and sent fabric samples through the post. The cushions were collected from my home and delivered back to me at home within the agreed timescale and honestly we could not be happier with the results. Our cheap little old caravan has been given a new lease of life! Very highly recommended.

I couldn’t be happier with the results of re-upholstery of my Motorhome. David and Marilyn were really easy to get on with and went to extra trouble to pick up and drop off due to the current situation. The workmanship is top quality and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

So pleased with their work!! And the service was also fantastic.
We have what is, for us, the ultimate van. Solar panels, big water tank, perfect layout, SOG system, refillable LPG cylinders, compressor fridge, winterised, solid German build quality and Mercedes base vehicle. Literally the only thing letting it down was the upholstery.
A1 have TRANSFORMED our van!! We are thrilled. Thank you so much. Highly recommended.

Glad we found A1 Upholstery.
Our upholstery in our Coachman Caravan was in need of replacement .
We called at the shop in Hyde with one of the cushions to see if they could help ,and were given very good advice on what we should do .
So on the following Monday we delivered our cushions to David.
Three days later we received a phone call to say they were ready.
To say we were pleased is a under statement, what a good job
they had made of them better than when we first purchased the
caravan new. Thank you everyone at A1 for all your help and a great

I placed an order with A1 for re-upholstery, and because we were going to be away the order was done via one telephone call and email, the material was even chosen on line. The order was for seating re-upholstery in a static caravan.
I am more than pleased to say that I chose the right company, from collection to return and fitting everything was done by David and Co., I have never lavished praise on any other company in any field but from start to finish I had A1FIVE STAR treatment, a pleasure to do business with a company with such values and respect and may I wish them a very long and prosperous

We are absolutely delighted with our new upholstery. It looks amazing. The whole experience from initial contact, to final fitting, was like dealing with an old friend. Cutomer service was paramount throughout the process. I cannot recommend this company enough for service, quality and price (but price was not our main concern).
