H’s extensive experience, understanding and good nature has helped to build my knowledge and confidence on the road. I definitely learnt a lot from each memorable lesson.
I was taught by H while back home in Chelmsford from University over the past two summers. I took my test last week in Canterbury (after being unable to book earlier due to Covid) and passed first time!!
I would like to say a huge thank you for getting me ready to pass and take on the roads in the future!

I can't thank H and Chelmsford Driving School enough. H as an instructor not only helped me to pass my practical driving test but has also educated me on driving in general. Thanks to H's lessons and personalised feedback I feel more confident, decisive and above all else safe on the roads. I couldn't recommend enough. I had only a handful of sessions with Hilario. He's clearly an experienced professional at his job. He knows how to read a driver's personality, identify their strengths and weakness, and give personalised feedback and criticism to help them improve. He did exactly that with me. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn how to drive and pass their exam.

I had a refresher session with H and he was great so professional and made me feel totally at ease. I had lost my confidence and fairly new to the area H assured me I needed no further lessons. Total confidence boost! I would highly recommend him if you are learning to drive or in the same position as me.

Very grateful to H.
H is a very kind and interesting person to talk with but strict when teaching.
Sometimes it can be stressful to learn from a very strict teacher but I think it does help overall in the end. When driving on the road it is important to understand where dangers are and H will make sure that you do understand.
Passed on my second test.

I had been taught by a number of instructors before, but H's lessons were instantly far better than anything I had had previously. The preparation for my test was excellent and very detailed in terms of what the examiners look for. I would definitely recommend H to anyone needing to pass their test- he provided a thorough driving education which will be used long after test day!

H has a very good teaching method even if it can be a bit harsh at points but I think it really helped me to pass first time with only 4 minors. Has lots of experience with teaching and really helps you prepare for anything.
