Call
Unlike other nurseries, we employ only fully qualified staff, many of whom have specialist qualifications. Call or email to confirm an appointment, then come in and meet the team, including the key worker who will look after your child. Flat, featureless, class room style buildings are easier to run but do not always create the right homely environment.

Our outdoor areas are exceptional with room for brilliant adventures and learning in the great outdoors.
Services
Since 1996, The Cedars Nurseries have been looking after the individual needs of thousands of North East families. This has always been done with an emphasis on learning through play where we encourage and reward achievement and good behaviour, at every level. To meet parents' exacting standards, we set ourselves even higher standards to achieve, one of the key reasons for our continued outstanding success.
We are fortunate in having an abundance of space and have dedicated several rooms to specialist baby and under 2 years old care. Each child is encouraged to develop at their own pace and we provide appropriate stimulation and play that the growing toddler needs. Our expert early years specialists, teach additional skills and we carefully observe and encourage correct development, in a social and peer group environment.
When ready and following supervised visits, the children move to the next age group, our Cygnets, when they are ready. This is usually done in small groups so that children are more comfortable with familiar surroundings and friendships are encouraged to continue. Having conquered the early skills of speech and movement, children are now ready for accelerated development.
We are looking to further cement our Award winning Education teams with the addition of a full time EYT to join our Outstanding nurseries in Newcastle and Sunderland. You will provide Ofsted Outstanding standards of child care and education, which includes the monitoring and reviews of provision and the ability to set appropriate limits for children.
