ACTS (Ayres Clark Theatre School) was the inspiration of Hilary Ayres and Emma Clark who wanted to encourage children and adults to follow their dreams of performing. Those thoughts and ideas have built the group into the ever expanding, successful and fun group that it is today. Maxine Everett, a partner, who is also our dance teacher, has performed in most of the top West End shows since leaving The Laine Theatre Arts college.
She is passionate about her craft, and is committed to coaching the children to reach their full potential. The aim of the group is to offer as much or a little as any one student wants, and give them the opportunity to perform on stage, and maybe help shape their life. We are completely independent (not a franchise) and with the strong roots that we have put down, are able to move and change with the wants and needs of the children.

Services
We are pleased to announce that we are re-starting our LAMDA exam course on a Monday. These classes are now run over zoom. It makes it easier for everyone both learner and teacher. The teacher meets everyone at the hall at the start of the course so that pieces can be chosen, and then again just before the exams.

ACTS & Maxine Everett have been part of my family's life for over 19yrs now with all 4 of my children attend and two still attending. This theatre school have done so much for my children with supreme teaching of tap, jazz, ballet and LAMDA! My children all love going and you have helped and supported them with love, support and determination!… Especially knowing that it was you that taught my son Ashlee the skills that he was able to enrol into Arts Educational and then straight into West End theatres! So a huge THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart Hilary , Maxine, Emma and all the
