Established in the year 2000, we're an independent audio production company based in Wrexham, north Wales. We produce radio programmes for the BBC, but we also make radio adverts, podcast productions, telephone messages, audio for retail radio and much more. Plus, we also hire out our studio for both film and TV post production work.
We are open and taking bookings. But, we do ask that any person with a high temperature, or, who is experiencing symptoms of feeling ill, does not attend the studio. A maximum of two people will be permitted into the studio at any one time and must adhere to adequate social distancing. Hand sanitisers will be available and the studio will be fully cleaned and disinfected upon your arrival.

Our on hold systems are purpose built to commercially play messages all day long. Unlike a CD player, our on hold recording devices have no moving parts, so there's less chance the on hold equipment will stop playing.
Both large and small businessess know it's important to sound professional on the telephone. In the UK a voicemail message is probably the best way to professional manage calls if you are unavailable to take the call. It keeps a professional connection with suppliers and gives them an opportunity to leave a message.

Great service from the guys at The Audio Cafe. Right from the first contact with Peter to the follow up to make sure I was happy with the results. It was my first time recording voice over, and Peter could not have been more helpful, guiding me through the process from start to finish, putting me at ease. I have no problem recommending this very professional, local recording studio and would definitely use them again.

I recently visited the Audio cafe with my 9 year old daughter after purchasing a voucher for a studio experience to sing her favourite song as a gift for Christmas.My daughter loves to sing so this was the perfect gift to give her. My daughter was very shy and nervous when we arrived but Peter made sure she felt at ease by explaining step by step of what will be happening during our visit. During the song nerves got the better of her and she began to cry but Peter was excellent, he gave her time to settle, gave her so much praise and encouragement throughout the session she was then was able to
